We are presently having issues with our Google Transit Feed. Presently, trips cannot be planned with Google Maps or 511.
In partnership with Google and the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) the Vine has two trip planning options.
511 is administered by MTC and provides comprehensive information about how to get around in the San Francisco Bay Area. Whether you need transit, traffic, rideshare or bicycling information, you can find it in a single place, at this one-stop resource. For more information, visit the 511 home page at http://www.511.org.
There's more to 511.org
511 is also a toll-free telephone information number. This easy to remember three-digit number provides up-to-the-minute information on traffic conditions and incidents, details on public transportation routes and fares, instant carpool and vanpool referrals, bicycling information and more. All available by dialing 511 from anywhere within the Bay Area.
The 511 Transit Trip PlannerSM lets you plan your trips on Muni and other Bay Area transit. You'll enter your starting point and destination, make some choices about your trip, and receive an itinerary. It is our most used site feature. The 511 Trip Planner is presented by the Metropolitan Transportation Commission.
You can also use Google Maps to plan your trips on transit.
